Dominance Guardian Services has been affiliated with the Grand Hotel Mornington for the past three years. The Grand has been very please with Dominance and particularly Nick in that period. Nick and his business partners have always been reliable, easy to manage and available at any time, day or night to reach is a problem arose. The guards Nick provides are well trained and have superior knowledge of the hospitality Industry, the guards are also very adaptable to our work environment and are happy to listen and learn. The Grand takes particular pride in its appearance and we need our security guards to follow suit. Nick is always willing to come in for a chat at a moment’s notice and also attends the Mornington’s liquor accord with the hotel management.

I would say that in our short relationship with Dominance Guardian Services there has been an obvious decline in violent incidents in our night club and the general atmosphere in our sports bar is much friendlier, this has a lot to do with the security personnel not just being “bouncers’ but acting as Grand Hotel security staff and being part of the team. Dominance supples anywhere from one to twenty guards at a time to the Grand for normal service and special events at no stage have we had a concern that the required numbers could not be met.

On a personal note, Nick has provided me as assistant manager of The Grand Hotel with much insight into the hotel security field and has always been available for advice on issues such as numbers required, training tips, night club procedures and event ideas. I would not hesitate in recommending Dominance Guardian Services to anyone looking for a professional and well organised security organisation.

I have been using the security services of Dominance Guardian Services for the past 5 years.

In my business security is an integral part of my success. And in an environment which is a volatile and at times a hostile one, Dominance has always managed my security needs in a professional manner.

Their guards have the skills and knowledge to deal with a wide range of situations which are prevalent in the hospitality industry. I am pleased to provide a reference for Nick Karas and show my approval for his security company Dominance Guardian Services. DGS has and still continues to manage the security contract at Club Kilsyth, now for 8 years as well as our venue at Club Ringwood for 3 years. Open Door Pub Co Pty Ltd (ODPC) was established in July 2004 with the acquisition of 22 managed venues and 16 subleased venues from Lion Nathan Ltd. One of its acquisitions was the Mentone Hotel on Beach Rd in Mentone.

The venue is very popular for both food and beverage. Its nightclub operates two nights a week, Wednesday & Saturday.

The EDGY nightclub is a Melbourne Institution on Wednesday nights. The Mentone Hotel has been using Dominance Guardian Services in our venue for the last 8 years for us as the current owners and also the previous owners.

Customer Service, knowledge of legislation, a passive approach when dealing with conflict and confrontation is pivotal in this industry. Dominance delivers all of this.

The Mentone Hotel has adopted a house policy in the interest of harm minimisation to all patrons and staff. Dominance Guardian Services has been instrumental in organising this policy in conjunction with Hotel Management.

Dominance Security has been contracted at Urban Central Accommodation to assist with night management and crowd control for approximately four years.

Dominance’s main responsibility is night management of the venue including check in/out of guests, cashier, night audit, security patrol and all aspects of guest queries and service.

Along with supplying night management from approx. 10pm to 8am seven days a week Dominance supply crowd control personnel three days a week for our bar. Between the two parties they have total operational authority over the venue.

Dominance Security Personnel are valued members of our team. Their strengths lie in commitment for success in their roles. They are not afraid to attempt new tasks and thrive on challenging projects. Dominance Security personnel have a relaxed, happy attitude and are a pleasure to work with.
